After having my BCG treatment cancelled the morning of my treatment…I was told I’d be called when the treatment came in…3 weeks later I was called and went in for my treatments…after the 3rd. treatment I waited 6 wks. and went in for my cystioscope..was clean(Thank you Sweet Jesus)…Dr. Alexander (kind and sweet as he could).. let me know that they weren’t receiving any GCB)…I’ll be going in for a cystioscope in December without any treatments…December 7th. will be one year I received my first clean cystioscope…all I can do is hope and pray my cystioscope will be clean…yes…it is a rollercoaster…and yes …it’s so troubling not knowing what the cystioscope results will be without any BCG treatment..but….(I’m very blessed to have a wonderful Lifegroup and friends from Church helping me get through this journey)…also had rotator cuff surgery the day after my last treatment…it’s been 9 weeks since that surgery and would you believe…I’ve not had any pain….am still in physical therapy and will be for another 2 months (that has kept me occupied but…the bladder cancer is always just a thought away)..
anyway… will update in December…until then Blessings to everyone….

Hi @june-bagala, How incredibly frustrating and disappointing that they did not notify you about your treatment until the morning of! You may be able to relate to this interview with Diane about the impact of the current BCG shortage: https://bladdercancer.net/living/impact-bcg-shortage/. I’m glad you’ve been communicating with your Dr. since then, and that your Lifegroup helps you get through it. Love that you’re still counting your blessings through it all. Wonderful to hear your recovery from the other surgery has gone smoothly. Do keep us posted on how your cystoscopy goes in December. We will be thinking of you! -Sarah (BladderCancer.net Team Member)
