Remembering Jennifer Toth

We are incredibly saddened to share that BladderCancer.net team member Jennifer Toth passed away on January 28, 2020. Jennifer had been living with lung cancer since 2014 and was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2017. Jennifer was a loving mother and grandmother to 7 children and several grandchildren. We are thinking of all her family and friends and sending love to those who knew her best. Jennifer will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.

A voice for the cancer community

Jennifer openly shared her story and supported many people in the lung and bladder cancer communities along the way. She had a knack for explaining confusing and scary aspects of life with cancer, and many community members drew strength from her articles.

Some of her writing can be found at the below links; a full list of her articles can be found here.

Her writing connected with those who read them. A fellow contributor on BladderCancer.net, Mac, wrote in response to one of her articles, “Jennifer, you certainly have had an up and down ride, but I applaud your tenacity. What a great outlook…Being active and engaged are vital to successfully navigating this challenge. Thank you for the reminders.”

Jennifer’s work with the lung cancer community was equally inspiring. You can read her articles about life with lung cancer here and read the LungCancer.net team’s tribute to Jennifer here.
