"Hi everyone. I am sitting on the rooftop terrace at Guys Hospital, Cancer Wing. I haven’t posted anything on here lately as I’ve been having BCG treatment and was hoping to be cured. Sadly it didn’t work for me and last Saturday I had my bladder and my prostate removed and I have a brand new stoma. I haven’t grown to love it or name it yet but I’m sure I will in time. The stoma nurse here at Guys in London is wonderful and is working hard to keep me feeling positive and laughing which isn’t very easy right now. Perhaps giving it a name might help but I haven’t heard any male stome names yet, let’s try to think of one......how about Stanley or Stan for short, does anyone have a better idea. I think most of you are in America, so I send my love and best wishes from sunny London, UK where Brexit is occupying most people’s minds, my thoughts are closer to home!"
