"Just yesterday I had a Cystoscopy, a Biopsy, Cortorize the area and wrapped up with a 1 hour treatment of a Kemo treatment. I had a tumor removed about six years ago and over the last four years I have had just a Cystoscopy once a year. But at the last one he said there "wasn't cause for concern", but an area he wanted to have me under anesthesia so he could do a test. I was totally asleep for about 2hrs, woke up had the Kemo treatment, cleaned up and home. Other than the discomfort of needle pricks, pressure while removing the catheter and mild buring last evening, it was fine. I was a very fortunate patient, after moving from my "practicing" Urologist to a world renowned head of bladder cancer at Vanderbilt, everything has been a low stress, well explained and other than the hour drive in heavy traffic, a very easy treatment. I think a major part of this is the genuine caring, polite and courteous staff at Vanderbilt. I should know the results next week and have to return in six months."
