I had a TURBT in January and February of 2023 and then Gen/Doce chemotherapy injections 4 weeks later for 6 weeks in a row due to my choice of not wanting BCG treatments after researching them for a few weeks and just didn’t like what I was hearing about side affects and came across a study of BCG VS GEN/Doce and found that Gen/Doce has a better rate of non recurrence and very low side affects so went with the Gen/Doce and no side affects for me personally and no recurrence so far ! I’m very happy with my decision and currently on 12 month maintenance and go back in early October for another look with camera then 6 month interval! Good luck with your decision and hope this helps!

I had the turbts most recent and the gemcitabine I had no adverse reactions, I go to see my doctor again in 2 wks to see the effects. I was also treated with an emunotherapy drug which I took for a month prior. I'm waiting to see my results. Hope for the best

I hate the waiting ! I wish you the best and stay positive! All my friends and family were like you don’t seem to be worried about this at all, I told them that I couldn’t do anything to change it and that I would NOT let it beat me and I’ve just stayed positive and I hope you all do the same! Best of luck and please keep us updated!
