We are concerned about the bacteria after the BCG treatment. We have a small house with one bathroom. Thanks
i am not medically trained nor have I had BCG, but the recommendation is to use bleach after each bathroom use, as I understand it. Please chime in anyone else with experience. Also I recommend checking with your medical team prior to the treatment. Laura, Moderator, BladderCancer.net Thank you.
- I also did not choose BCG treatments but know many people who have. I am not medically trained either but know that it is important to clean the toilet with bleach following the BCG being expelled. You should be given detailed directions during BCG treatments as to how to clean up and/or dispose following each treatment. I wish you well with the treatments and hope that they are successful.
