Blood in urine

I saw blood in my urine only one time so mentioned this to the doctor as I was in his surgery for something else so he took urine sample and blood sample they came back clear so then he said I will send you for a ct scan which also came back clear as he was still not happy he asked me to go for a cystoscope at my local hospital the consultant was 99%sure he would find nothing but there was a tumour at the bottom of my bladder it was removed two weeks later I have been informed it is only low grade but I am now so grateful I told the doctor about this
