Has anyone else been affected by the news that Tecentriq is being withdrawn as a bladder cancer immunotherapy treatment?

I have been in the tecentriq trial for 5 months. I’ve been told I will continue in the trial. Doctors seemed to minimize the press release. I am disappointed to say the least. I have two more treatments....it’s a wait and see approach. I was the one who saw the article before my doctors. My future in the trial is unsure.

Thanks Jada, I see my oncologist tomorrow. We’ll see what is next. Thx for your concerns....I don’t know what to think.

Hi

Still not much news. They are continuing my trial treatment...I only have one more infusion after today. My oncologist advised it’s on a case by case decision. My trial manager said they were not accepting any new patients for bladder cancer trials using Tecentriq. Results failed to provide proof that it was effective. This certainly puts more stress on me but I’m a pretty positive person so this is just a bump in the road. If I find out any useful info I will advise. I need to be happy that I’m currently cancer free. Thanks for your thoughtfulness.
