High Grade TA

Diagnosed, treated 2019. 5 yrs cancer free. Have other health issues, but for now cancer free. Have a routine cysto next week. As usual my BP will rise. Not because of the discomfort, but the wondering if they will find anything/nothing... the unknown.

  1. HI that is amazing news! I think most of our community members will say their blood pressure rises when they need to be scanned. The unknown is always scary. Please do keep us posted on your appointment. Jill (Team Member)

    1. I wish it was as simple as a "scan" like with a barcode scanner. The cystco is more of a flexible Wendy's soda straw... or so it feels. Even with lidocaine it's still very uncomfortable. Luckily it's only a few seconds with insertion. Even after penetration, it's not real comfy with a foreign object entering one of the bodily exits. 😀. PSA tests have all but replaced the old "finger wiggle" tests for the prostate. Maybe someday they'll have something similar for bladder cancer. The other health issures are of course age (7😎 diabetes II for 30+ yrs and all the gifts it bestows on the body, Afib. I'm still able to drive and take care of myself. Walk with a cane, no more bikes or swimming. Getting old is so much fun... NOT. Have a super Blue Moon Day.

  2. 👍 It's tomorrow. Not sure if I will have the test results though.

    1. I wish a scan was just as easy too. I hope today goes smoothly for you. We will be thinking of you. Jill (Team Member)
