Intense pain post treatment

I'm 78 years old. I was diagnosed with non-invasive bladder cancer stage 2 in November of 2020. I had my tumor removed by January of 2021. So far, I’ve had 21 BCG treatments over the last two years. I had a cystoscopy every three months, and all of them were clear. I will have one at the beginning of May. After my last treatment about five months ago, I suffered a lot of pain, both day and night. I am also going to the bathroom frequently. It has been five months since my last treatment, and my pain is intense. I’m thinking of stopping the BCG, at least until I feel better. We shall see what the urologist says.
