I’m newly diagnosed, high-grade non-invasive. I underwent a TURBT 5 days ago, and just yesterday my left foot began hurting to an almost unbearable degree. Now this morning it is swelling and stiff. Is this a normal side effect of the mytomycin c?

- I had mitocycin post TURBT both times and did not have that happen but that does not mean that it may not impact others differently. I personally would reach out to your doctor as that sounds like it should be investigated. Please keep us updated on how you are doing. ? Is there any change in your foot pain? I hope that it has resolved itself an if not that you reach out to a medical provider to determine the cause. Keep us updated on how you are. My best Linda Urbanski (moderator, Bladdercancer.net team member)

On occasion the system will change who I tag and I made an error by not proof reading my post as I normally do. I was aware of who was the poster. Thank you. Linda Urbanski (moderator, Bladdercancer.net team member)

hi. I haven’t had this treatment but I did have swollen feet when I had bladder cancer. How is it today? Hopefully improving for you. Laura, Moderator, BladderCancer.net

I hope that you are doing better. In my response to you the other day I mistakenly tagged someone else but wanted to see if things are improving at all. I hope for a resolution soon. Keep us updated. My best. Linda Urbanski (moderator, Bladdercancer.net team member)

Thank you for your responses. No, the foot pain and numbness in my thigh have not resolved themselves as of yet. Working with my doctor to find a solution. The Obturator nerve in the bladder is close to wear they were working so the hope is that through the healing process the nerves will regenerate on their own.
