SWF Providers Post Treatment
I haven't posted in a while-sorry. I successfully made it through 2.5 years of battling T1 HG with CIS. 7 resections/biopsies, 21 weeks of intrabladder treatments - 18 with BCG.
While I've had no evidence of disease for over 1.5 years my bladder has taken a beating. I have a lot of trouble with frequent urgency, pain, low volume... My last 2 scopes show a lot of post BCG damage. My oncologist at Moffitt is referring me to USF Urology group to evaluate - perhaps Botox treatments. A lot of my pain could be due to prostate - I had a Urolift with my first resection and those symptoms appear worse.
I was told the aftereffects of therapy would settle down but that have not - at all.
Wondering if anyone else is dealing with this. And any recommendations for good aftercare provider in SW Florida. I live in North Port and it's a long haul to Moffit in Tampa.
@shacky - Happy to have you back on here and giving us an update on how thing are doing. I wish you were not dealing with all of these issues and wish I could give some advice to assist. I am sure others who have been through this will chime in. Sending good vibes your way that this gets better or our have a way to ease your discomfort.
