Treatment option

After my surgery for T1 non muscle invasive in 2021, I am currently faced with T2 muscle invasive CA as seen in my CT urography scan. It hasn't gotten to my lymph nodes yet.

I don't want partial or radical cystectomy. What other option do I have? I am leaning towards TURBT and immunotherapy. Is this achievable with high success rate?

I haven't seen my doctor yet because I have to complete all the tests I was told to do.

I don't have insurance because my low income contract job doesn't enable me to have one. I have emailed BCAN for direction on how to get financial support.

I really need help.

  1. Hi I can hear how overwhelming this is for you. I am sending you over this article that has information about options: https://bladdercancer.net/stage-2-3-muscle-invasive. I am also sending you these stories from our members that experienced something similar to you: https://bladdercancer.net/stories/successful-cancer-journey and https://bladdercancer.net/forums/bc-t2-muscle-invasive. In addition, I am including an article with financial resources: https://bladdercancer.net/coping/resources-support-2. How long do you need to complete all your tests? I hope you can get into the doctor soon so that you can discuss all your options with them. I really hope you can get some financial support. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.
