What can I expect from 1st visit with Uroligist
I will have my 1st appointment with my urologist on 7-7. What should I expect.
@Sandra110 - Has your PCP sent you to the urologist? We are not medical professionals but to be honest it would be difficult for this to be answered without more information. Are you going due to prior test results? Are you scheduled for testing with the urologist? Depending on your respond to this, if it were me I would have some questions prepared. My kidney dr referred me to Uroligist because after doing an ultrasound he found a spot on my bladder. I’m just curious. What do they usually do on the first appointment?
@Sandra110 - I cannot provide medical advice but I would think that the urologist would discuss your history and look over test results. Has anything else been discussed regarding this appt such as a cystoscopy being done or any other tests? It might just be an information getting appt to see what concerns if any that the urologist has. Please keep us updated on how things go.
