Bladder Cancer Awareness Month: Our Bladders Matter!

May is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month! This year during awareness month, we are highlighting the importance of advocating for yourself and the journey of becoming an empowered patient.

Why is awareness important?

Bladder cancer is the 4th most common cancer in men and is considered a common form of cancer in the United States.

While bladder cancer can affect anyone, many people do not know the symptoms until it is too late. By raising awareness, we can better educate the world to improve early diagnosis, encourage policymakers to increase access to services, fund research, and reduce the feelings of isolation or discrimination people face.
