T1HG: Scope, 2 TURBTs and BCG

Diagnosed in Dec 2019. Now in April, I recently completed my first 6 week rounds of BCG... Other than the normal pain of the scope and catheter (was getting used to the catheter for BCG, which is sad), everything went well, I did not have any lingering issues.

Bladder trouble and BCG side effects

I’ve had trouble emptying by bladder for the last few years, just takes a long time. I had few side effects from BCG (short term slight fever, minor fatigue and spasms), no pain.

I know everyone's experience is different, so I hope the best for you. My next appointment is another scope at the end of May - BTW, I did switch from my urologist to a local National Cancer Center - like it MUCH more.

Have you had pain or side effects from treatment?
