BCG side effects
Hello to all, Captain Rich here. Yesterday I had my third BCG treatment. After my second treatment I suffered a real bad burning sensation every time I urinated which was very often. Yesterday my Dr recommended taking AZO. It's at CVS over the counter for UTIs. They have a prescription version but insurance wouldn't cover cuz they said you can get OTC. Only difference is prescription comes in 100 mg, AZO comes in 50 mg so you just take two, three times a day, up to 3 days of needed. I was expecting a painful day yesterday but this AZO was like magic. I had no pain urinating yesterday at all. Turns your pee orange but who cares. I will definitely be using it remaining 3 treatments. I just wanted to share this with everyone because it was such a relief to me.

@Captain ricih - thank you for sharing this update and the great news that you were able to find a way to deal with the possible side effects from your treaments. I am sure that others going through this will be happy to hear of an option. I hope that you have as much success with the remaining treatments.
