Bcg treatment

I have had 12 doses of BCG and will be having a further 3 in October.
Any one else out there who have been through BCG therapy.
I feel burnt out and get pain just before and after I pass water.

  1. You didn't say how long the treatment lasted or if there was a rest period in the middle. I had ZERO issues with the BCG, but I was given only six doses in six weeks. The results were minimal so I moved on to try a different approach (low dose chemo).

    1. thanks as always for sharing your experience. How are you doing? Laura, Moderator, BladderCancer.net

  2. I had 12 doses of BCG after surgery .
First I had six then a wait for around 6 weeks before another 3 and then another wait and 3 more.

You said results were minimal but it’s a preventive treatment so cancer does not come back.
    Did your come back ?
