Bladder cancer
Good afternoon could I please ask if anyone has had chemo/radiotherapy to treat bladder cancer ! My husband as chose this form of treatment over surgery. Any advice would be grateful to receive he is wondering how long the treatment goes on for and how many hours etc does it take in one sitting. If anyone as any information we would be very grateful thankyou in advance
- May I ask what stage and grade your husband is? I assume as you have mentioned chemo that he is stage 2 or above. I did not have chemo or BCG and chose to go directly to RC so I cannot respond to your specific question. I personally would discuss this with the doctor as I assume that different types of chemo have are not all administered the same and for the same length of time. I hope that whatever your husband chooses, that it is successful. Thankyou. Yes stage 2. He has had 4 cycles of chemotherapy and then it’s radiotherapy/chemotherapy.
