Bladder Cancer Survivor

Referring to the previous story, I, too, am surviving bladder cancer & removal for 15 months. I am 75 and learning a new life without a bladder.
Overall, this past year has been much better than I expected. Most things are now healed, and I live a very active life, including some house construction and weekly golfing. The required appliances are of good quality and quite functional. Even the minor leaks are usually due to my overactivity and are easily remedied.
I miss the activities that are now gone due to missing parts, but we have accepted that this is better than the alternatives. I'm hoping for many more years with a loving family and more time with my three new great-granddaughters. I wish all who are going through similar times strength to endure and a good outlook on the life that is to come.
