bladder poly high grade cancer

My husband had a bladder polp removed and he had a high grade cancerous tumor. He had it removed and so far he has had 6 BCG immunotherapy treatments. It has been three months since the last treatment and he is due to get more. He now has similar and different symptoms again since before removal of cancerous polyp. How likely is it that the cancer has returned during the three months since last BCG treatment.
