Scan went well. Now diagnosed with carcinoma in situ in the bladder. Will have surgery to remove bladder, prostate, right ureter and right kidney. Getting used to the idea of a stoma.

glad the scan went well. It is good to know you what the plan is now. When I had a plan, it helped me to move forward in my bladder cancer journey. I know it seems daunting now but you will recover and resume a good life. I have had two stomas for 5 years. I travel worldwide and work full time and do all I did before. You may find this featured collection supportive as you plan for your surgery. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have and as a community we will try to answer. Wishing you well. https://bladdercancer.net/living-with-a-urinary-diversion Laura, Moderator, BladderCancer.net
