Metastatic Bladder Cancer.

I have had 2 previous tumours removed from my bladder and now a new tumour has been found in my right ureter. This has still to be removed. If it is found to be the same as the previous two, does this mean that the original bladder cancer has metastisised and will be treatable but not curable and the long term prognosis obviously terminal. If that is to be the case I would rather know. Please don’t suggest speaking to my oncologist. I am in Scotland and my experience so far has been nothing short of disgraceful. As of the time of writing I have yet to either speak to or see an oncologist. All I get are letters telling me details of the next procedure or results of the previous and yes I have requested to speak to an oncologist but so far without success. Our greatly loved NHS system is in a dire state in all aspects with no sign of improvement any time soon

  1. Hi from Scotland. It is a urologist you really need to see. Have you been seen by one? What have they advised are the next steps? Are you scheduled to have TURBT?
