The beginning of my journey

Thanks to all of you who have been willing to share your personal experiences with bladder cancer. It matters. I am just at the beginning of my journey. A CT scan done on Dec 5th showed a 1.2 cm mass on my bladder. My first cystoscopy is scheduled for Dec 21st. I am in that uncertain period, waiting for a diagnosis. I am not new to cancer. I have had cancer twice before: stage 2 colon cancer in 2015 and stage 3 rectal cancer in 2019. So, I have already experienced the initial trauma of a cancer diagnosis. I believe this bladder issue is cancer. My primary concern is my age; I am 78 years old. With a limited time horizon, I would like to preserve my bladder. We will see—best of luck to all of you.
