  1. @Ralphw - Have you had your appointment with the urologist and your post is a typo? Please do not let your mind go to the worst case scenario. Where are you now in the process of determining what is going on? I am only asking as you have stated a mass of specific size - have you had testing such as a cystoscopy or a TURBT for the removal of this mass? I wish you the very best with your appointment. Please keep us updated on how you are and feel comfortable asking anything that you need to. My best, Linda Urbanski (moderator, Bladdercancer.net team member)

    1. I think regardless of our age or circumstances, hearing that we have bladder cancer is a shock. Please know as a community we are here to support you and hopefully feel a little less alone. Did you already see the urologist in January or is in April you are first seeing them? Hopefully once you see the Urologist and no what the plan is, things will be a little easier to manage. Sending you positive vibes from Scotland. My Dad's best friend lives in Ontario. Laura, Moderator, BladderCancer.net

      1. @Ralphw - how are you doing? Have you seen your urologist yet or is your appointment the 16th of this month? I wish you the best with your appointment and suggest that you go prepared with written questions to hopefully get the answers that you need. Keep us updated and know that we are always here to provide support to you. My best Linda Urbanski (moderator, Bladdercancer.net team member)

    2. hey there. I am so sorry to have to welcome you to this community. You seem like a rockstar! I hope I am still lifting weights and being as active at age 72! It does seem that smoking tobacco contributes to bladder cancer, although I haven't personally seen a connection with cannabis. It could be under-researched, of course. I hope you know you are not alone, and have an entire community here at your fingertips. Please keep us updated and let us know how you're getting along. Sending prayers for healing and return to full health in the weight room post haste! Charles (Moderator / BladderCancer.net)
