Update!!!

It's been a while since I posted but I wanted to share some good news! My husband has stage 4 bladder cancer that metastasized to his lungs. It's been a tough road. His bladder was removed. He went thru 6 rounds of chemo only to be told the tumor is chemo resistant. He's now on immunotherapy that was just approved by the FDA April 3. So far he has had two rounds. It's called PADCEV. So today we got cat scan results back. It's working!!! Most of the tumors have resolved and what's left has dramadically shrunk. I've been crying happy tears all day and wanted to share the positive news.

  1. _ Wonderful news!! I am so very happy for both of you. Stage 4 is certainly a daunting diagnosis and both of you have been through a great deal. I am thrilled to here that you finally found a treatment that worked and that neither of you gave up looking. I have heard of that treatment but did not know of anyone who had tried it. Congrats to you both and thank you for sharing this great news!! My very best for continued success!! Linda Urbanski (moderator, Bladdercancer.net team member)
