@Communitymember757ee8 - I wish you were not having such anxiety with this but I completely understand that not knowing for certain can cause this. A few questions if I may - are you seeing a urologist? If not, I suggest that you ask for a referral for one. I am not a medical professional and would not be able to answer if an ultrasound can detect this type of cancer for certain or not. Is it possible that you are resistant to the antibiotic? Has your diet changed significantly ? Personally my urologist said that he felt my cancer had been growing for a long time prior to my diagnosis over 8 years ago. If you are not feeling confident with the testing procedures and responses, I may suggest another doctor for another opinion, definitely a urologist in the mix of your team also. Maybe the antibiotics are not working any more? It could be for a variety of reasons but google and the internet will not provide answers to your specific condition. You will find the good, bad and ugly on there. Also what you want to hear and what you do not want to hear are readily available if you google enough. My suggestion is to seek out the best urologist and go from there. I am sorry that I cannot provide a better response but understand your concerns with over a 15 year history of issues. To help with your anxiety, I would get definitive answers and options as soon as possible and not rely on the internet. Keep us posted. Sending hugs and prayers your way that you have some answers soon. Try not to let this stress you out but move ahead to find the right answers. My best to you.
