Sizing

Has any one got experience with a smaller sized mass or polyp..I was told by ultrasound mine was 5x4mm polyp ..wondering if any one had any stories of hope to share x

  1. @Maraiew86 - I honestly do not know the sizes of my tumors and did not consider asking. I am not a medical professional and cannot provide medical advice but I would think that the smaller it is the less it has been growing. I don't know that for sure but it seems reasonable. When are you going for your follow up as that will give you the information that you need. I wish we had a crystal ball so we could provide answers earlier but that is not the case. Keep thinking positively about this and we will all be doing the same for you. My best Linda Urbanski ( moderator, Bladdercancer.net team member)

    1. I know I can’t say anything to alleviate your concern right now. Just please know lots of people have experienced these feelings. They are completely naturally. We all fear the unknown. You will get through the appointment and you will get through the other side. Thinking of you. Laura, Moderator, BladderCancer.net

    2. @mariew86 - You will have answers very soon. I know that you may not want them but I personally think that it is better to know what, if anything, you are dealing with. Fear of the unknown is common and tough to deal with but we do get through it. Let us know who you find out and know that we are here to support you. Sending positive vibes your way. 2. hi. I can’t offer specifics here. For an overview on bladder cancer and staging etc you can read here. Please try and just focus on the fact you will soon now what is going on and that your medical team do everything they can for you as needed. https://bladdercancer.net/diagnosis Laura, Moderator, BladderCancer.net

    1. @Mariew86 - Personally I think until you know what this is definitely you are only surmising and it is making you go to the negative side of everything you read. This may be nothing at all so I would wait until you have definitive information and go from there. Get some rest and get on with your life and assume that this will be fine until you hear otherwise. My best to you. Linda Urbanski ( moderator, Bladdercancer.net team member)

  3. Thank you all for your support …really appreciate it x

    1. that’s what we are here for. We will support you as a community, after your appointment as needed too. We are here for you. Laura, Moderator, BladderCancer.net
